“If look at what you don’t have in life, you will always want more, but if you look at what you have, you will always have enough” —Waleuska Lazo
If you live life always looking for the things you think you need in order to be happy, you will never be happy. You will miss out on the joy of life with a thirstless sensation for more. On the other hand, if you develop the habit of waking up each morning acknowledging your blessings, especially all the things you take for granted, you will realize how abundant you actually are. The next time you find yourself complaining and lamenting for something you want and don’t have, make an inventory of what you do have and if on your list you have; love in your life, health in your body, family to support you, friends to rely on, eyes to see, legs to walk and run, a roof over your head, food on your table, then you are the richest person in the world. It is all a matter of gratitude and perspective.
With gratitude,
Waleuska Lazo
